Outtakes II: A Walk in the Woods
Dig this creepy boardwalk through the woods behind Sandhills Community
College.I was hoping to incorporate these shots into a multi-media
presentation, but they have turned into yet another series of outtakes.
Enjoy!

Here we have more macro. The shell's highly reflective surface proved to be
more of an obstacle than I thought. Seems that the less diffused the light, the
more minimal my super-hot speculars were.

These were my best shots.

PhotoShop Before and After
Here is a headshot of Mike. I am posting this to show the composition as
it was originally shot and the final cropped, photoshopped headshot.

Oh, what a difference! Thanks in advance for any feedback.

These are some early attempts at some "bio-related"
macro work I've done for my class this semester.

LOCATION PORTRAIT
HERE ARE SOME PORTRAITS I TOOK OF HUD AT THE
SANDHILL'S COMMUNITY COLLEGE HORTICULTURAL GARDENS.

I TONED THEM DIFFERENTLY TO REFLECT HUD'S EXPRESSION IN EACH SHOT

Here is a photo illustration that
incorporates 3 separate images:
An x-ray of a skull,
a puff of smoke from a smoke machine,
and a silhouette of Hamilton pretending to puff.

Portraits with Props
I was trying some (perhaps goofy) ideas using props in portraits. Here are a couple of examples featuring Gretchen and Tony.

Photo Illustrations
Here are some ideas I worked on for my lighting class earlier this fall.
I like the ideas but I think they need some tweaking.

This shot was inspired by the movie, '2001: A Space Odyssey'.
Instead of a monolith floating through space, I used my cell phone.

Here is an shot where I tried to ilustrate chocolate chips as mountains.
I think this is where Count Chocula lives.
